Rather than have "some situations where this doesn't apply" we have "no situation where this does apply." Is it the only racial that is PURELY COSMETIC IN THE GAME, yup.Īt the moment the other races have anywhere from 3-6 racials and while in most cases at least 1 racial won't really benefit you (Human/Gnome's warrior's spirit/intellect, Tauren without Herbalism, Orc elemental shaman's loss of every racial benefit besides hardness, etc etc) but the innate way Two Forms was designed is such that no spec of any class with any profession gains in anyway from this racial. Is it kinda cool, to some I am sure it is. This "fun" racial has no practical benefit. No tricking anyone in a BG to think you are a Human as combat, casting/buffing, stealthing, mounting, and anything else besides an Emote shifts you back. Its an easy argument to make that as a result the Worgen have one less racial to work with since as previously stated by Rankkorr absolutely anything you do besides stand around puts you back in Worgen form anyway. Yes I do know that their Jump and Barrage abilities are on a shared CD but it does in fact give them immense situational use while 1 of the Worgen racials is wholly and completely useless in terms of any in game value aside from RP (READ: two forms). (In /say - like how locks in demon form speak demonic)Ĭomment by Hotice2104So why is it that Worgens have 5 racials to the Goblins 6? One question I do have though - will you be able to speak common as a worgen and/or worgen as a human? A "cure" of sort has been developed and while not perfectly effective, it allows the cursed people to keep their mind and consciousness even when transformed. Only the timely intervention of the night elves saves the people of Gilneas - but even the elves could not prevent all of the damage - almost the entire country have been transformed into worgen. Now the wall is broken, the Forsaken advance in the area, and the mysterious curse of the worgen summoned by Arugal has infected large number of Gilnean citizens. King Greymane and his people severed any connection with the outside world after the Second War, and ever since then the Greymane Wall, the seas, and the mountains have protected the people of Gilneas from outsiders' eyes. Years have passed without news from the isolated human kingdom of Gilneas.
